Wildflowers on a hike in the Tetons
The whole time we were in the Tetons/Yellowstone we were hoping to see a Bison…better yet, a whole herd of them. We kept driving past signs that said to slow down for wildlife, that speeding kills, but none were to be found roadside. Finally, after deciding spontaneously to check out a more hidden spring away from the swarming masses of tourists, we saw this guy rubbing his head against a tree, and later, when we came down, grazing along the side of the path. Finally saw our bison, though it was just one!
